There is much despair in the land.
When Nigerians celebrated the return of democracy in 1999, they never envisaged that 18 years after, we will have unprecedented unemployment, inflation, and security concerns.
As it stands today, the country is sitting on a keg of powder which can only be diffused by good governance.
Chinua Achebe opined that the problem of Nigeria is "Leadership problem". With the right leadership, we can make this country the best in the world, given our enormous human and natural resources.
They say tough times require tough people. His Excellency Alhaji Abubakar Atiku despite his humble beginning is where he is to through sheer dint of hard work and God's grace.
The current realities in Nigeria, especially as it concerns the security, and economy of this country needs a capable, resourceful, and pragmatic leader like Atiku to get Nigeria out of the woods.
With the track record of having 50,000 direct staffs and a higher number of indirect staffs working for him, Atiku posses the entrepreneur acumen needed to make Nigeria's private sector fulfill it's potentials of boosting our earnings and job creation.

As a democrat who has always fought against anti-democratic practices, an Atiku presidency will see the strengthening of our judiciary; he has always believe in the judiciary as the hope of the common man. Also, an Atiku Presidency will end and enthrone respect for Human Rights and democratic freedom which is currently lacking today.
On Security, Atiku stands out as he is urbane, cosmopolitan and a bridge builder whose reforms of of our current security architecture will not arouse suspicions among Nigerians. He will implement thorough and well researched reforms that will ensure crime is prevented and criminals are reformed to be productive to our country.
It is instructive to know that with the deep suspicion in the land and current mistrust, Atiku leads the pack, when one considers his cerebral personality. He will not be caged by religious nor ethnic fantasist.
Without reforming our security architecture, we cannot rebuild our economy to tackle youth restiveness, poverty, and unemployment.
Atiku is not perfect nor the most intelligent Nigerian, but he has always surrounded himself with the best and is always keen to new suggestions; which explains why no politician today in Nigeria ranks closer to him in usage of the social media which avails him the opportunity to interact with young Nigerians, because he believes and have faith in their capacity as the future of a brighter and prosperous Nigeria.
